The Kiwanis Club of Woodridge has raised and distributed money over the years to various organizations and individuals with the prime objective to benefit children. Recent fund raising events are listed below along with some fund raisers conducted in the past.

2011 October Glow Stick Fundraiser
The Key Club from Downers Grove South Community High School assisted us with our glow stick fundraiser at the Haunted Forest Walk sponsored by the Woodridge Park District on October 28th and 29th.
2011 October Peanut Days Fundraiser
The club collected donations at the corner of 75th Street and Rt. 53 on September 22nd and 23rd as part of its Peanut Days fundraiser. In addition, individuals and companies were offered the opportunity to purchase boxes of peanuts that were distributed by our club, purchase boxes for themselves or purchase boxes to distribute to the troops. This new offering was well received by the community and contributed to a successful fundraiser.
2011 Summer Movie in the Park Glow Stick Fundraiser
Members of the Kiwanis Club of Woodridge again sold glow sticks at the Woodridge Park District "Movies in the Park" events held at the local parks during the summer to raise funds.
2011 June 16 - 18 Glow Stick Fundraiser at Woodridge Jubilee
Glow stick sales by the Kiwanis Club of Woodridge were brisk at the Woodridge Jubilee event on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, June 16 to June 18. As darkness falls, many kids persuade their parents to purchase our glow sticks to add to their fun at the festival.
2011 April Fundraiser at Wendy's
A fundraiser was held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Wendy's near the intersection of 87th St. and Woodward Ave. in Woodridge. The purpose of this event was to raise money towards the purchase of a "Ton of Food" at the West Suburban Community Pantry.
