Fund Raising Projects

Boy on pillar The Kiwanis Club of Woodridge has raised and distributed money over the years to various organizations and individuals with the prime objective to benefit children. Recent fund raising events are listed below along with some fund raisers conducted in the past.

Our club looks for new fund raising opportunities on a regular basis and for new members to bring fresh ideas to the club. If you are interested in helping our club, please notify us using our Contact Us page.

2009 More Glow Stick Sales

More glow sticks were sold at the Woodridge Cultural Festival and the Haunted Forest Walk held during September and October of 2009, respectively.

2009 Kiwanis Peanut Day

On September 25-26th several volunteers collected money and handed out our signature peanuts at the intersection at 75th Street and Route 53 during the morning rush hour.

2009 Summer Glow Stick Sales

Glow sticks were sold during the summer of 2009 at the various park district events to raise money.

June 18 - June 20 Woodridge Jubilee Festival
August 19 at Jubilee Site - Movies in the Park
July 22 at Jubilee Site - Movies in the Park
June 24 at Orchard Park - Movies in the Park

2008 Kiwanis Peanut Day

In the Fall 2008 volunteers collected contributions and distributed peanuts at an intersection in Woodridge.
